The Drug House Ditch, Portland OR.

You guys living in places like Arizona and New Mexico will laugh at this, but here in the rainy NW we dont see too many ditches.

This one would need some work but looks awesome. It's maybe a hundred yards long on a mellow downhill grade.

As you can see it's pretty muddy and crappy and would take a few guys an afternoon with some shovels and brooms to get it rideable. I named it the Drug House Ditch because it's behind a Social Security office, when I was scouting it out the security guard started taking down my license plate number. I asked what was up and he thought I was going to the drug house next to the ditch.

It's pretty bad in some spots, but I bet the concrete is pretty well preserved under the mud.

There's a lower section as well, but it doesnt look worth the effort. The incline is pretty heavy here as well. I'm sure I'll be out there on a sunday this spring with a shovel and martyr complex, sacrificing my day so that others can skate.

If your going to scout this ditch, dont park around the Social Security office or you'll be in suspicion of drugs. You can enter through a construction area on the street but you may have to do it when the crews arent there.
